The Prusa CORE One L Critical Infrastructure Edition represents the most advanced evolution of Prusa's CoreXY platform. It was specifically designed for industrial and safety-critical environments developed – for example for advanced manufacturing, defense, aerospace or sensitive infrastructures – and improves the functions of the original model with a stronger focus on Data protection, reliability and offline operation .

Enhanced architecture and industrial design

The CORE One L Critical Infrastructure Edition keeps that Construction volume of 300 × 300 × 330 mm of the standard model, but features a Steel and aluminum exoskeleton with internal reinforcements that increase structural stability. The actively heated chamber reaches up to 60 °C and the AC convection heated bed They ensure even heat distribution and prevent deformation, even in high-performance technical materials such as PA, PC or ASA .

Security and 100% offline operation

The main difference to the model CORE One L lies in the multi-layered security architecture . This version removes all wireless connectivity and the integrated camera, resulting in a fully isolated (air-gapped) workflow is guaranteed. It will be equipped with a certified, encrypted USB drive Delivered to ensure that all files and processes remain separate from external networks.

Technical performance and professional performance

In terms of performance, the same highly rigid CoreXY mechanism is retained, combined with the Nextruder direct drive extruder with a 10:1 planetary gearbox and a 360° cooling system for overhangs up to 75°. The system integrates a Automatic bed leveling via load cell as well as 32-bit electronics (xBuddy with STM32) and Trinamic 2130 drivers, which ensures precision and stability even in 24/7 continuous operation.

Ready for continuous operation

The printer will factory calibrated It is supplied and includes two nozzles (one high-flow CHT brass nozzle and one wear-resistant nozzle, both 0.4 mm). It is for Print farms optimized with minimal maintenance and will be the MMU3 multi-material system The closed frame design with removable panels offers easy access and maintenance while ensuring operational safety.

Material compatibility

Thanks to the heated chamber and advanced thermal management, this edition supports a wide range of materials: PLA, PETG, Flex, PVA, PC, PP, CPE and PVB . With the optional extended filter system, also ABS, ASA, HIPS and PA (nylon) They can be processed with high dimensional accuracy and without deformation, at layer heights of 0.05 to 0.30 mm.

European manufacturing and industrial certifications

This edition will be fully in the European Union and the United States manufactured with printed circuit boards produced in Prague and full traceability. It meets the standards. ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 and guarantees quality, sustainability, and occupational safety. These certifications confirm their suitability for critical facilities that require demonstrable reliability and documented quality.

Open-source software and a secure ecosystem

Like all Prusa printers, this edition also retains a Open-source software ecosystem with full support for PrusaSlicer , EasyPrint and Prusa Connect and can be operated entirely without a network or user account. The entire Firmware and software are open source , which allows for fully offline configuration, slicing, and updating to ensure data privacy and workflow integrity.

In summary, it can be said that the Prusa CORE One L Critical Infrastructure Edition not only did it double the construction volume of the original model, but it also enhanced security architecture , a more robust mechanical design and one full offline operation offers. It is the ideal tool for professionals who industrial performance and uncompromising
